I'm intrigued by this guy, just because of his range and glove for a listed catcher. Really he's a poor catcher, but he can play a few positions and might be a decent bench guy if I had a better high stamina/durability catcher I planned on playing every game.

if you can pick up a guy like that in the Rule V, then it was a success

are you looking at the 2b's projections?
I never do.  If I have to keep him on my roster all season and his current ratings aren't that good, then I won't get him enough PAs to develop properly.

Plus, at 4 years of minor league development already, the chances of him improving much at this point are slim anyway.

Yeah, you can't really go by projections in the Rule V unless you'll find them 300+ at bats or can somehow get them through waivers.

If they're 22 or 23, they can continue to improve after a year in the Majors under ML coaching. I was hoping to pick up a defensive SS in Rule V in DM, but it appears that is out the window.

i dont know nor care if you are in mendoza, but this guy projects to a 90, even overrated he'd be great as trade bait

I picked up the last serviceable defensive SS yesterday afternoon. This league is really lacking there.

I could easily turn that Rule V we're debating for an ace prospect. People look at the projected overall, and you can probably get great value in return for it.
