I wish I could settle on an approach to the draft settings formula that I was comfortable just sticking with.
I have one I like enough that I have used for about 12 total seasons across 3 worlds.  I usually only need to spend about 15 minutes tweaking after that...

I usually only rank 30-50 guys though and ignore the rest.

It has cut my draft prep time into like 20% of what it used to be.
That's what I keep hoping I find.  Anytime I think I do, a season pops up where I decide the formula eats a dick and must have just stumbled into success the previous season.

Assuming I have picks in the 50's, 60's, 70's, I usually do a rough top 50, plus digging around for hidden gems at the positions where they tend to get buried in the ranking.

you actually didnt, 4 of your 8 would be very good choices.  Although there are 2 serious stinkers in there, and 2 that arent good value until around pick #20

true, the fact that 2 of his better choices didnt show up for me at all is a little annoying, but thats how the game is designed, so I cant get too bent about it.
