Fervus has solid energy, but he is sort of a whiner.

$ Draft on Sunday...damn, I hope I don't screw this up.
I am really stoked about it...  more than I have been before.  7 first round picks will do that.  Unfortunately though, it doesn't seem like a great draft and it has a massive supplementary round...  so they aren't as valuable as in other seasons.
I'm seeing a great draft class.  Not too many top tier studs, but a lot of players that should end up in the Bigs
agreed.  I'm at the point where I'll be pleased with the player I pick up at 6, but after my 9th or so ranked person, theres a whole lot of B level talent.  Enough B level talent to possibly make it through to my pair of 2nd round picks.

I have to go through the pitchers yet, but I was not impressed with the position players.

I wish I could settle on an approach to the draft settings formula that I was comfortable just sticking with.

the better SP prospects seem to be serious signing risks

So, do you think Hamels has a feeling of impending doom taking the mound after the team has scored 17 runs in the two previous games?

Doesn't that sort of prove my point?  If you think it is good, it must be awful.

I dont really like the formula, particularly for hitters.  I value things differently in a shortstop, vs a right fielder vs a catcher

I don't pick until the 50s - I'm unconcerned about the best SP prospects, I'm just hoping to be able to get a servicable reliever or something of the like.

I think he's pretty optimistic generally, so he's probably expecting it to continue and finally buck the trend of them not scoring for him.

I have one I like enough that I have used for about 12 total seasons across 3 worlds.  I usually only need to spend about 15 minutes tweaking after that...

I usually only rank 30-50 guys though and ignore the rest.

It has cut my draft prep time into like 20% of what it used to be.

Yeah, it's kind of useless.  I'd be happy if I just found something I thought did a good job of setting me up for a quick run-through to rearrange and establish a top 50 or 100, depending on the season.

Who am I kidding, I'm never going to 100.
