They have to build up suspense so they get good ratings on the Ryder Cup Team Announcement Show. I am sure you'll being seeing a bunch of Will He or Won't He stories over the next week.

The golf rankings suck. No way is he the # 1 golfer. That said, even as crappy as he's playing, he still is #12 on the Ryder cup rankings--so I'd put him in. And, surprisingly he had the 2nd best cumulative score at the majors and one of a handful to make the cut at all 4.

It was fun playing Jamie last night, even though he stomped me 38-19.  Kolb or Jamie or both are really good at completing midrange to deep passes while being hit.
