This is some absolutely brilliant meta-irony.

The tip-off for me was that the picture of Karen O is actually of a drag queen dressed up as Karen O.

I can't remember if I sold this one before or not...but it's kind of sneaky good.  The Mynabirds--What We Lost in the Fire We Gain In The Flood...elegant blue-eyed country soul.   Closest equivalent is probably Dusty in Memphis...I'm not sure if it's anyone on here's thing...but it's really well crafted.

I'm sampling the new Arcade Fire and Tame Impala albums.

Initial impressions were favorable, though.

My operational definition for ages there was "the best album I have heard this summer" basically.

I will give it a listen later on this week.  Probably not my thing but a few bands like that get me hard.

The new Arcade Fire is the #1 album in America. I was not expecting that to happen.

Arcade Fire are a bunch of depression cases.  That **** makes me go looking for mud in my speakers. 

There aren't enough drugs in the world...

Yeah, that's kind of amazing.  Although I think Neon Bible hit pretty high, too.  Regardless, I'm with Gin.  I find Win Butler's affect really, seriously, annoying and pompous.  Despite that, I still think it's a pretty decent album.
