The 2011 Peak of Hotness Draft Topic

Ok, since hockey is the only one left to pick and swamp is dying to know about the secret scoring system - my thought was to have a vote to decide on who did the best in the eyes of The Pit.

I'll post all the categories with the picks and some pics.  Everyone can pick their top 3 in each category (they can not vote for their own pick).  We'll tally up the scores and see who has the best draft.  Everyone doesn't have to vote if they don't want to, strictly voluntary but I think a minimum of 9 of the 16 drafters should submit ballots to make this official.

Also if anyone in The Pit who didn't participate wants to vote they are welcome also.  All votes will count the same.  Give me a couple days to get this set-up.

yeah, I can't imagine any of those guys using the RNG got their top picks, especially in the middle to end of the draft.
agreed, although it was just about impossible to prioritize the categories.

of course, that was half the fun.

My plan of attack was to look at each category I had left to choose from and pick from the one that had the fewest left on my list. Using the RNG seemed far more risky than I was comfortable with.
I went Dream Team for the first six picks, then drafted for need afterward.  The redhead and black chick requirements made for some adjusting.

I prioritized by the woman not categories.  Of course it only takes losing one or two to throw a wrench into the whole list.

you know what might help?

when you set up your ballot with the picks and pics, leave out the user names.  Just show the ladies.

I really don't think hockey's gonna hit this, I was thinking Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson.  Yes I would, both of them.

And YES I was there back in the day when Goldie was the bomb.

Of course, I was about ten.

Yeah, the redhead and black woman requirement made you think; I have an adjustment in mind for that on the next version.

That's gonna be a category for the next version: mother / daughter tandem - both will have to have some degree of celebrity though.

I think the only time RNG held me back is when it drew 1970s-POH.  I told myself whatever RNG chooses I will select a redhead at that time no matter category it came in.

Took Jill St John,but considered Marilu Henner(but she is more of POH 80s)and also considered Valerie Perrine.
All-in-all still a great draft by all and RNG didn't hold me back too much-----plenty of babes to be had.

Marilu Henner would have qualified for POH-70s, Taxi was on the air in the late 70s so she achieved celebrity status in the 70s.  I was considering her when a couple of my 70s picks went off the board.

That would be the best idea. No bias that way, though they can still be looked up.

Damn, that would've been a good pick for TV/Redhead (think she'd qualify for TV)
