This is fun!!, but also agonizing.  What do I take? I might have a great RP in my sights, but also a very good SS, and then there is this OF who is so-so this decade but has a great year in the 90's. Which one to take next?, but with 40 picks before my next pick it really doesnt matter because all 3 will be gone. And even if they are still there it takes me 4 coin flips to determine the winner.
Being retired makes it even worse because I dont have work to take up my time. I am here ALL day, which means I change my mind 24 times before I have to make my next pick.
This was a great idea Bilfert, I hope it makes it all the way back to the beginning of baseball.

I can totally relate gray. retired myself and stuck home with my leg in a cast  so I can't even drive and get out of the house. at least I have plenty of time to prep for my fantasy football draft. as to Bilfert's strategy of planning ahead, I try and get a mix. a couple of good keepers if possible and then the best possible players I can for the current season. I hate finishing last.

I was just giving general examples, but he sure does fit the profile.

2PM pick - I guess I need to take SOMEONE who will be around after the 2000s so let's go with Orel Hershiser and wait 20 years.

EDIT - Crap, Hershiser doesn't have a WIS year in 2000.  Change to Rafael Soriano
