Lower on my list than a lot of what’s been mentioned already, but it’d be cool to have more flavor or personality. AP-style game recaps would be neat. Something to bring the players to life a bit.

Possibly even a clubhouse chemistry mechanic. Maybe that gives more incentive to hire a good bench coach, or to re-sign an aging vet who’s been a good influence on the younger players. It would also...

Always wanted individual base stealing instead of an over-all team set up. Sad when you can't green light your lead-off hitter without having your catcher or lumbering DH trying to steal bases.
