#717 Advanced Stats Q. What is Usage%?
  A. Usage% is the player's possessions (FGA + FTA * 0.44 + Turnovers) per minute as a percentage of his real-life team's possessions per minute. This value indicates how often a player either shot the ball, drew a foul, or turned the ball over. The SimEngine uses this value in relation to the other 4 players on his team to determine how often each player gets the ball.
#718 Advanced Stats Q. What is Offensive Rebound%?
  A. Offensive Rebound% is an estimate of the percentage of his team's missed field goals that a player grabbed while on the floor. The SimEngine uses this value in relation to the Offensive Rebound% of the other 4 players on his team and the Defensive Rebound% of the 5 players on the other team to determine which player rebounds a missed field goal.
#719 Advanced Stats Q. What is Defensive Rebound%?
  A. Defensive Rebound% is an estimate of the percentage of the opposing team's missed field goals that a player grabbed while on the floor. The SimEngine uses this value in relation to the Defensive Rebound% of the other 4 players on his team and the Offensive Rebound% of the 5 players on the other team to determine which player rebounds a missed field goal.
#720 Advanced Stats Q. What is Steal%?
  A. Steal% is an estimate of the percentage of defensive possessions while on the floor in which a player recorded a steal. In the SimEngine, Steal% is a component that impacts whether a turnover occurs on a given possession, and if so, the likelihood that the turnover is a steal. It's also used to determine who steals the ball.
#721 Advanced Stats Q. What is Block%?
  A. Block% is an estimate of the percentage of the opposing team's missed field goals that the defensive player blocked while on the floor. In the SimEngine, Block% is a component that impacts an opposing player's shooting percentage. On a missed shot attempt it's used to determine whether the shot was blocked. If there was a block on the play, it's used to determine who got the block.
#722 Advanced Stats Q. What is Effective Field Goal% (eFG%)?
  A. Effective Field Goal% (FGM + 0.5 * 3PM) / FGA is a measure of shooting percentage that weights 3 pointers appropriately more than 2 pointers. It's useful when comparing players who attempted a lot of 3 point shots to players who didn't.
#723 Advanced Stats Q. What is Assist%?
  A. Assist% is an estimate of the percentage of a team's made field goals on which the player assisted while he was on the floor. In the SimEngine, Assist% is a component that can impact (positively or negatively) the shooting percentage of the player's team on offense. It also helps determine if a made field goal resulted from an assist and if so, which player is credited with the assist.
#724 Advanced Stats Q. What is 2pt%#?
  A. 2pt%# is the player's normalized shooting percentage from 2 point range. In order to level the different NBA eras, we use a form of normalization for both 2pt% and 3pt%. This number indicates what the player would be expected to shoot from 2 point range against a team of historically average defensive players. It can be a great tool to compare players of different eras.
