The Wishbone offensive set consists of one TE, one WR, two RBs, and one FB. Never a formation defenses like to face, wishbone is all about running the football in all directions without tipping the play to the defense.

The Pro-Set offensive set consists of one TE, two WRs, one RB, and one FB. It is the most balanced formation for both passing and running the football, resulting in more flexible play calling.

The Notre Dame Box offensive set consists of two TEs, one WR, one RB, and one FB. It is a set designed for a powerful running game and a conservative passing game.

Shotgun
The Shotgun offensive set consists of one TE and four WRs. It is the most aggressive passing formation and is good for teams that like to open up the offense. The quarterback also has slightly more time to make a play since he isn`t starting out under center.

Trips
The Trips offensive set consists of one TE, three WRs, and one RB. Centered around the passing play, this set also keeps a running back in the game to help out with pass protection and to get the occasional carry to take advantage of three receivers stretching the field.
