Yeah, the trap is the reason the Rangers are getting embarrased.
How about bad goaltending, injuries, bad penalties and maybe, just maybe, the Devils are better.

I would welcome Jagr on the PK. Lets see what other part of his body he can self-injure.
The trap is a fundamental defensive scheme. If they are doing it without the clutching and grabbing that the NHL allowed prior to this year then truely what is the problem? Its not like the rangers haven't seen the trap before or perhaps we should add bad coaching to the list?

Granted its not the oilers of the 80's but the devils don't have as much firepower as a lot of the other teams in the playoffs. In order to succeed they have to keep the score low as they only have two dependable goal scorers (1 of which is recovering from a major illness). I still don't count Gomez as a dependable scorer.
It may be boring but to all of us 350 devil fans its poetry.
