I really thought you were great Coach, but I'm very disappointed in my lack of playing time. It would kill my parents if I quit, but you're not leaving me much choice.

My response: Young man, if you had tried harder to learn defense, learn how to shoot, learn how to pass and dribble and be a team player you would be playing. Why should you play on the varsity team when you don't even start on the intramural squad? I want you to be happy and if you think somewhere else will make you happy, then leave with my blessings.
