I've deleted my previous two posts since I'm getting tired of seeing my own complaints in here. I keep hoping that some kind of a reverse jinx will happen....but no.

At the 22-Game mark, my five teams had a cumulative winning percentage of .564. I was estatic! Even knowing that they couldn't all keep it up at that pace, at least I was hoping to make it to Round Three. Then comes the 45-Game mark - all five teams had a cumulative winning percentage of right at .500. I never expected them all to start tanking.

Now we're at the 69-Game mark. Guess what the overall cumulative winning percentage is for all five teams? How about .435?!? That's right .435! My best team is three games under .500.

Now I know I've never been close to one of the better managers in this SIM but damn! It's almost like WIS is punishing me for not doing another tournament...lol. Without going back and looking at all of the daily results, I'm pretty sure that I haven't had a round of at least 3 wins out of the 5 teams in over a week. Every session is either 2-3, 1-4 or 0-5. I mean, come on - has anyone else ever had a streak like this where every one of your teams was so bad for so long?

It's been a rough round for sure.

I'm sorry - I just can't help myself. I just went back through all five teams' records. On April 26th in the PM2 Round, three of my five teams won their game.

Since then: 11 Days x 3 Rounds per Day = 33 Rounds...all five teams combined for 2 wins or less in EVERY round.

That's brutal.

I had the #2 ('78 Brewers) and #4 ('81 Astros) overall picks (before everybody even got assigned their leagues). Those two teams are a combined 12 games below .500. Usually, I draft pitching early, so of course, the one one offensive-heavy team I picked with my first round pick ('82 Angels) is ranked 11th in the AL in runs scored.

I chose the '83 Royals with my last pick so I could get a stud RP, in Dan Quisenberry (0.93 whip). My Royals just had 8 consecutive losses where I lost by 1 run and Quisenberry has a loss and/or blown save in 6 of those games.

Apparently, I no longer know how this game works.
