You can probably get away with around 1250 real life IP. But of course the trick is getting high quality with fewest amount of real life IP. We get 2 below average AAA pitchers but they usually low stamina.

And with position players, you don't want to spend too much on players with high real life PAs. We get 4 below average AAA position players but they usually have low stamina.
