I also would have chosen Curry at #3. Team strengths will be EFG (2nd highest in league), great DEF, and a bunch of 3's. Weaknesses are Deb, and fouls. I like how Clarke and Melton can defend PG to cover Curry's better than you think but not great defense. The 2nd time I won this league, I used 80-81 Gilmore, but the 72-73 version does have better rebounding and you need it. You drafted good value with McHale when he usually goes 12 picks earlier. Bobby Jones was also good value also going about 12 picks earlier. At first I didn't like the Bogdanovic pick, but if you search for players with 50 or higher DEF, usage over 18, per% over 50, EFG over 60, you'll find 3 curry's and BOGDANOVIC!!! also, to% is pretty nice to boot. Prediction: Elite 8.

pick 4 - 9 are very close in value but Shaq is not who I would have picked. You made a trade and reached for Paul George at #23 but he is more of a mid to late 2nd value for me. Either Garnett, Harden, and Erving were also available at the time you chose Paul George. Also, There is 1 clear top choice for Terrell Brandon and 97-98 is not it. I suppose you were trying to make the money work, but I don't think you needed Drexler. You could have gone with Harper at PG, Paul George at SG, Terrell Brandon backing up both, and chose a SF instead of Drexler int he 6th. Maybe a Siakam could have worked. Anyway, as you built it, your team will be strong in maybe assists and maybe 3's. Otherwise I see some weaknesses compared to the rest of the league in EFG, and Deb. Prediction: Bottom tier.

Dwight at #5 is ok. Again 4-9 are all very similar in value with different strengths. But I rank Giannis at #4 and Jordan at 5. Good draft all around. You didn't reach and chose the best seasons shown below. I can't remember but I think I slightly prefer 95-96 pippen but 96-97 is very close in value. Y our team strengths are EFG, very clean TO's and decent fouls. You'll also make plenty of 3's. OReb is your only weakness comapred to the rest of the league but with hgih EFG, you won't need to grab as many. I also like that Stoudemire can shift defensively with Dwight Howard. I like Pippen at the SG with an ultra clean, good shooting, good defender in Marvin Williams at SF. Prediction: Elite 8

I like starting off with Giannis at 6. I like following that up with Kyrie. I like Nic Claxton. So how come if I like the first 3 picks, you have a low chewy score? Your team strengths are assists, 3’s, and decent EFG and DReb. Weaknesses are defense, Fouls , TO, and OReb. Alperen Sengun is not good enough to be on a roster in this format. And my hot take is that Bill Russell doesn’t belong either. His EFG is so bad and TO’s not that clean. His elite defense and rebounding can’t make up for the huge hit to EFG. In a league like this at this cap when you have teams average 55-60 weighted avg efg, he is phasing out of being a good option. Perhaps I think so little of him because I had my worst savage performance when I used Bill Russell recently. Prediction: bottom tier.

I like starting off with Michael Jordan. As long as you play him at PG and it looks like you are. Marion is 98% at SG so I assume that’s where you’ll play him towns needs a good defender that can switch with him Noah does have 100 def but I don’t like his EFG and rebounding isn’t that great I much rather prefer using Noah’s 11-12 season at SF and then you can parlay the rebounding advantage into something better.
Your team strengths are low TO, and decent DReb. Weaknesses are too many fouls and defense relative to the average of the rest of the league. Jordan will need to carry this team. Prediction: On the playoff bubble

Team strengths are EFG and 3’s, but weaknesses are DReb and defense relative to the rest of the league. Prediction: bottom tier

The only weakness could be the backcourt defense. Prediction: Playoffs, 1st rd exit.

Did you just get through watching a Laker documentary? I was scratching my head with the AC Green, cooper and worthy picks but maybe you’ll make it work. I like Durant, Favors, and even Mcadoo. Magic scarred me after a bad savage performance. Team strengths are low TO’s and fouls but could struggle in rebounding. That’s what happens when you use Green and Worthy at PF and SF. In rd 5 I would’ve preferred going with Parish. But otherwise you had a good draft early on at least. Mcadoo didn’t get drafted in the previous 52 draft somehow but he deserved to be taken about where you drafted him. Prediction: in the playoffs.

I’ll try to be as nice as possible. Larry bird is more of a late rd 1 pick not 12th overall. If you love bird, you can always trade down and get more value in later rounds. I’d prefer David Robinson, Karl Malone, Gobert, C Paul, James Harden, and D Jordan. You followed Bird up with Brand who I see as a 3rd value. You kept the old school vibes going with Jerry West and Walt Frazier. They play good defense but their EFG isn’t good enough to be successful in this league. Elton Brand has the most value playing SF, not PF. Rebounding and EFG will be below the league average. I do like Desmond Bane though. He is a better rebounding CJ McCollum with a few more TOs. Prediction: bottom tier

ragged is showing why he is a top owner on this site. I love Gobert, Jimmy Butler, and C Wood. I know I talk about EFG but butler is more about True shooting percentage. With defenses so strong, every players efg will be lower than expected. But butler has good free throw shooting, which is why he is a good pick in this league. No defensive impact on free throws. I am curious about using kenps 93-94 season over 95-96. Strengths are defense, OReb and 3’s. Weaknesses are fouls and ast %. Prediction: Final 4.

Chewy told me these are just placeholders and he will add write ups when he can.

Yes I show TOp48 because in can’t “scrape” the table that shows to%.

Jethro’s score is fixed and my defense is nice but I wish I hadn’t fallen in love with having 100 defense at 4 positions. It looks cool on paper but I’ve never seen it payoff to justify going for it.

I wonder if teams that go for too many great defenders get burned by committing too many fouls. It looks like chewy has that under control. His team looks scary to me.
