Actually though so far I’ll have one of the better defenses, low fouls and high ft rate. My rebounding should be best in the league or close. My efg will be on the lower end of things but I suppose the 50oreb% should help there.

its a lot of money and I have to fill the rest out but at the very least my starters will be doing very well.
Here's hoping you can do better in the W column than I did with my recent tandem of Rodman and Drummond.
You had Billups too although in the 3rd instead of the 5th. I think Tatum really brings the team together.
Tatum's most recent season is a monster, for sure.

It seems to be that the Moses Malone and Dennis Rodman combo has been tried a number of times in this league, but I don’t remember looking to see how they did. Does anyone who has tried it care to share?

The Malone Rodman Combo…Moses Malone on piano, Dennis Rodman on saxophone, Muggsy Bogues on bass fiddle, add a torch singer and I think we have something.

I revived James Worthy's career last season lol. Picked this season and being used in the ODL by reeldeal

Soliciting Opinions

I have buyer's remorse. Starting in the fourth round, as my team was starting to take shape, I decided to take Grant Hill in the sixth round with the belief that he would still be around. At literally the last second, I selected Kobe Bryant instead.

My thinking was Grant fills out a stat sheet rather well. For a SF he has a really good combination of DReb% and Ast%. But he doesn't shoot the 3 and doesn't have a good Def Rtg. My team needed a player that hoists up some 3's to prevent teams from running a -2 on me. And my team needed some overall D as I only have one player on my roster going into the sixth round with a rating above 71. So, I selected Kobe as my SF because he shoots the 3 about four times per game and has a Def Rtg of 90. eFG% is not a factor as they both are identical in that department.

I'm looking for opinions on who is the better SF considering the position I was in. And no, "Nash doesn't belong in the 52" is not the response I am looking for. Nor am I looking for advice on a different SF I should have taken. I'm only soliciting opinions about who is the better SF, Kobe or Grant. Please share your opinions with me. Thanks, and GL this season!!!!

30+ usage at <50% efg is more bad than all the good right column stats combined can make up for - imho

Solicited or not, the best advice moving forward for your team would be to take a lower minute Nash season, like 97-98 , move Kobe to PG, and choose a better SF option with good defense. I know it’s not what you’re asking for, but I wouldn’t be stubborn seeking advice from those who have valuable knowledge to share. Your rebounding advantage from Jordan and Drummond is gone if you play Kobe at SF.

I agree. Kobe needs ball possessions and PG is better suited there.

Defense should be good other than maybe some issues on the permitter. lots of fts and not many fouls. EFG isn't great but I think It'll be fine. Oreb is almost off the charts and Dreb is on the high end of what I'd want. assists are solid and some lineups might even have great %s. turnovers are a bit high but I don't think major problem high. Ft% and 3pt% should both be solid. scrubs will have to play minutes some games but not much. feels like a high 50s win team.

I told midge privately that I could do 8 - 12 reviews.

I could probably cover the people that are doing reviews so they don’t have to review themselves on Thursday. But that’s really all I can do atm

1) seapilots - Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Walton, John Stockton, Otto Porter, Zach LaVine, Anderson Varejao, Kemba Walker (chewy score: 67.75)

Who says you have to take LeBron #1 or if you want Wilt to trade down to #2? Not Seapilots. He kicked off the Midge 52 draft by breaking the mold and taking Wilt Chamberlain. This team can boast the highest chewy score and will be strong in EFG, Ast, Fouls, and 3PM. Some weaknesses could be TO’s , and relative defense compared to the rest of the league. The A/T ratio is ok but the median composite team ast% is 64 and you have 89. Hopefully the assist bump can give you an advantage. Once you got Stockton and definitely had assists covered, could you have looked for a SG that had similar usage and EFG to Lavine but better TO's and rebounding? I suppose there really wasn't anyone available at the time and you needed usage with high EFG so I can understand the decision. I would have looked to use Porter at SG, and searched for a SF but again, who was available? That is the path you force yourself to go down when your 1st 4 picks usage is 18.5, 20.8, 18.9, and 18.4. Prediction: Final 4.

2) longtallbrad - LeBron James, Draymond Green, Marcus Camby, Alonzo Mourning, Miles Bridges, Boban Marjanovic, Russell Westbrook. (chewy score: 59.75) You made changes after this post and your current roster actually has a lower chewy score of 59.2. See bottom for current roster.

Wow!, LeBron fell right into your lap so it must have been an easy decision. After that, I don't like the Draymond Green pick, or any of your final 3 picks. Draymond only has 1 season I would entertain using and 15-16 has too many TO's for my standards. Miles Bridges has not been drafted in the last 4 drafts, and was not drafted in any BOWIS 55 league. That just means you probably could have had him without drafting him. Same with Boban, his minutes are so low and never gets drafted either. I think Brandon Clarke, Kirilenko, or Jarred Vanderbilt would have been great SG choices instead of Miles Bridges. Your team strengths will be DReb, Asts, and Defense. Weaknesses are OReb, EFG, TO, and Fouls. Perhaps, you could have found a better 6th man instead pf Pressey? He has great defense, but the TO and fouls hurt more than the defense helps. This is where waiting on Bridges and Boban could allow you to take someone such as the players above and still gotten Bridges at the end. Swap in Brandon Clarke for Pressey, and the team is much better. Prediction: On the Playoff Bubble but missing out by a game or two.
This was the previous roster getting a 59.75 score.
