I'll try and answer your questions but hopefully someone else will jump in and be more definitive than I can be.

1. I believe the answer is no.........as I know that at least one owner wants to re-draw his date and hasn't been allowed to do so.
2. I think the answer is yes on this question.
3. I think the AAA guys last season were below average. It is my belief that you can get help but limited in quality PA's or IP's.
4. The AAA salaries shouldn't matter as they're all 200K. I believe the answer to this is Yes. And further the 12 most expensive salried teams get put in one League and the 12 Least expensive in the other. Which seemed to work last season in producing competitive divisions.

To answer your question about AAA, we use below-average AAA players. That includes some very good players with 150 PA and some average players with 300 PA, and by picking your own, you'll have some good guys to use on a platoon basis. So, even if your date has no C or SS, you can select a guy from the supplemental draft of unused dates, and then take a couple of AAA fill ins at your lost position and muddle through.

NOTE: January 25 is the worst date in the month according to my measurements; the best player in terms of career WAR is Danny Richardson, who wasn't very good. So I expect to see you in the re-draw shortly.

Thanks, tdoak. One question, I get that I'll be able to juggle my 25 guys and the 10 AAA. And let's just say I also get to supp draft 3 guys. Does that mean I pull from 38 guys, or will I have to drop 3 of my original draftees to use the 3 supp picks?
Or in other words, can I juggle from 38 players, or just 35?

Also I'm good to play this out with the Jan 4 crew.

I know this one! You'll "replace" players from your 25 man roster with the Free Agents (3 or 4).
Thus the short answer is 35.

Everyone will. enter the league with a 25-man roster based on their given date, and the team total salary will determine the draft order, team with the lowest salary goes first. So, when you name your 25 players, you must use the highest-salary season that you might use for them. You can decide to switch to a lower salary for them once you draft your supplemental players [say, switching out a pitcher for a better season with fewer IP, because you don't need as many IP now], but you can't switch to a HIGHER salary season, because that would have cheated the draft order.

If your date does not have 25 players with a sim season, you'll have to take some 200K guys as placeholders, to be replaced in the supplemental draft. But don't do this if you have eligible guys [even if they are your 8th outfielder, you should roster 25 guys if you have them].
