I do enjoy browsing the NFL Theme League Classifieds archives and finding stuff like this.

Out of 57 available theme leagues, 21 are from 2007, 14 are from 2008, 12 are from 2009 ,10 are from 2010.

Please consider implementing a time expiration period for non-filled theme leagues that disband after a certain number of days.

I will do an update for drwildcat almost 14 years later. Here we are with a ton of league fees paid over that span, and a pop ad every time you try to read a post.

Our Season 4, is now only 5 teams away. Try it, like it or hate it. It's a different brand of NFL Football.

Hello all, I would like to join the theme league but not sure what a theme league is? Do I draft only players that have played within the franchise? It's great to have interest from the Dynasty Football ranks. I'm optimistic we will be full by the end of this weekend and have preseason games next week, all inside of a month. We lose and gain members and the beat goes on toward a Season 4 launch !!!

And I feel your pain. I can respect any diehard non-bandwagon Bills, Jets, Lions, Browns, etc. fans who have lived through years of heartache and agony just like Vikings fans have.

I could probably add Chargers, Falcons, Titans/Oilers, Bengals, and Cardinals fans to the list too. Sorry Panthers, Jags, and Texans fans, but you haven't been around quite long enough for the same level of suffering yet!

From 1978 thru 87 the Chargers were my favorite team, along with the 85 thru 88 Browns and the Chiefs 90 thru 94. Then Marty Ball finally arrives in SD 2001 thru 2006. Marty goes 14-2 in 2006 and loses his job. While in the lead with under 4 minutes to go, a DB picks off Tom Brady and fumbles it right back, then the Pats score the go ahead TD. I no longer have a favorite NFL team after that moment in NFL history..

I have sent sitemail invites out, in hopes of closing this League out and start Season 4. But, We are still an open NFL market for new members. Join us, if this League turns out to be fun. Find your way into our 50 mil tournament.

lb_bunk80, you laid this out during Season 1 signups, and it was early on. Here we are, only 1 team away for Season 4.

We are Full in only 26 days, Thanks to our core group and 6 new members. We are off to Season 4 in record time. When a challenge is more fun than a bottomless team budget. Bravo !!!

DCarden, what’s your thinking behind going up by 3 mill until you get to 59? Especially curious about your going up by 3 until you get to 59mill, basically an open league at that point.

A good point DS; 59 is basically 60. Maybe we should try 47 ! :)
