Post any thoughts, questions about the draft here. Thought we should do this to keep the draft thread from getting cluttered.

I'm seeing some interesting rosters, probably because we seem to have a few newer owners. In a few picks, or maybe at the draft's end, if one of the vets feels like posting any thoughts on particular teams/the whole league, that would be cool. We have a decent amount of newcomers, I'm sure they'd appreciate some thoughts of wisdom. I might try to, but I'm not an authority on what works in draft leagues.

JP - I was thinking of using Melo as the back up to Giannis at PF. I want Giannis to get the majority of shots.

I have been 2nd guessing my pick of Rose. I hope it works out for me.

I am very happy with Dalembert at C. I have to admit I am not that familiar with the current players and feel fortunate to have found him.

I really like what Rush brings to the table. He may be coming off the bench and can add some good scoring punch.

I like the Dalembert pick, I had him on my short-list. With Rose/Giannis starting, Melo to the bench makes sense. I'd grab your replacement-starter in the next rd or 2. Personally, I'd keep Rush as a starter, seems like a great complement to Rose/Giannis.

I do like the starting 4. Melo will be a nice 6th man off the bench.

I have a few guys to fit that 5th starter, but my pick is so far off I am not holding my breath.

I never planned on taking Zach LaVine, at least in round 3...but when I looked at his stats, SHOOT, he is worthy of a 3rd round pick! 31+ usage, 10+ Dreb, close to 15% asst %. Shoots 40% from 3, nearly 46% overall. But then to add TJ Warren with my next pick in the 4th was AWESOME! Look at HIS stats! 53.5% overall, 40+ from the arc and 23+ usage! Yeah, not a great rebounder of assist guy, but I LOVE those usage--FG % numbers! Getting Dragic at the 1 was just gravy.

Being that this is my first draft, I'd definitely appreciate any insight from the vets after we've finished.

I went for quality minutes over quantity of minutes for a lot of these. Also, my rebounding is atrocious BUT I am hoping my eFG% and low TOs will help cover that up, we will see.

Looks good but averaging everyone’s eFG isn’t going to tell you anything. Their weighted average would be closer to 54.5 off the top of my head. I like the low TO build you have going on.

I think it'd go better with a winning draft league guy sharing his thoughts, I'm not really good, but I might give some analysis a go after the draft. I'm ok at progs, so I do have some good insights.

I didn't average, I calculated the team eFG using their real life totals

I don’t see how your team’s eFG would be higher than all 4 of your highest usage players’ individual eFG but I don’t really want to spend any time debating it. Either way, I like the clean build.

eFG is FGM + (1/2 3PM) / FGAs

I wasn’t commenting on his usage.

Nothing to debate, all I did was put their totals in an eFG calculator online, if it's off than the site is wrong (which is entirely possible XD)
