Yes! A3 is Pippen. 5 seasons, 49.2 wins per season. Second is Towns with 46.5 per season in 4 seasons.

A5 is Penny. sly won 67 games and got bounced in the second round.

And that just leaves us with the player with the highest winning percentage of all 15 players drafted in the first round each of the last 23 seasons...

Dang that is interesting. I’ve traded down a couple times I think because I didn’t want to draft him.

It's funny because I have only drafted Hardaway 3 times in 10 seasons (same count as Tyson Chandler, Derek Harper and Leon Powe) but I also feel like I always have him. Some players just get associated with certain owners.

Like I always feel like ben has Howard, Walton and Korver but that is also just a few times. Or dh always has Chris Andersen but again, only 3 times. Lots of players like that.

For some reason I thought Bird slipped to the second round a couple times.

Dang that is interesting. I’ve traded down a couple times I think because I didn’t want to draft him.

Bird has been consistently a border line playoff team for a while, but 23 seasons goes back a ways and at the start of that, Bird was the best non-Jordan wing and you could get him around picks 10-15. He seemed to win 50 games every season and always had a pretty good owner. I went to the finals once with him with the best record in the league and got upset by CJ (CJ was a 6 seed that won 4 game 7s including against Ash and myself in the semis and finals. Most improbable run ever). And as you know, kinoa1 won 60 games with him and beat you in the finals. Only a couple poor seasons in the last 23 and never below 30 wins.

I guess I'll have to try and do a Bird build then.

40.7 - 9th out of 15 for the ones who have been 1st round picks every season and 21st out of 42 overall. He’s had some very good teams and some very bad ones.

The lack of OReb% for a SF makes him hard to build around imo, though he has enough supporting stats to make the right squad work.
