I’m going to drop 6 at a time. Probably will have all 24 posted by tonight. Don’t get mad at my opinions. Or get mad, what do I care?
Beachhouse
The good: he’s got not just one of the best big men anchors in the game, he’s got two of them. Wilt and Big Ben is a nasty combo up front and they are capable of winning some games alone. Charlie Ward and Jose Calderon were good finds late in the draft.
The bad: TMac AND Melo?! I really think 17-18 still has some undervalued players and had he complimented his great 2 big men by scoring someone like Jimmy Butler late, then I would be worried. I feel like you set a nice foundation and then added two team killers. I hope I’m wrong.
Overall: If a TMac team can work in this league, surrounding him with two elite low-usage centers and two good low-usage PGs is a good start. If he added the right bench pieces, then this team can beat anyone on any given night, but I don’t think this is a playoff team. Wilt is great though so I could easily be wrong.
Roster: Wilt Chamberlain, Ben Wallace, Tracy McGrady, Jose Calderon, Charlie Ward, Reggie Evans, Carmelo Anthony

The good: Steph + Manu is a GREAT backcourt. Dikembe is not only a great defensive anchor up front, but he’s also a great compliment to Steph. I really like this trio, and Mel Daniels aint bad either.
The bad: I feel like the later picks could have been a little better. There was a lot of value left on the board late, I would’ve loved to see you go BPA in the final rounds and grab a guy like Kevin Johnson well after he should’ve been drafted, just to win by having more talent than your opponents. Grant Hill seems like an odd pick IMO.
Overall: I wouldn’t be surprised to see this team make the playoffs. Manu and Dikembe are great compliments to Steph.
Roster: Stephen Curry, Manu Ginobili, Dikembe Mutombo, Mel Daniels, Maurice Cheeks, Bismack Biyombo, Grant Hill

The good: So many good players. Dr J, Bill Walton, Bobby Jones, Larry Nance and Tree Rollins are all good players, and trading down gave you some good draft assets.
The bad: No GREAT players. I like Dr J but I don’t know if he can be the best player on a championship team in this league. I also wonder where your shooting is going to come from because the FA pool is pretty devoid of quality 3s.
Overall: I think this team will be okay. I think they’ll compete and give opposing offenses fits. I don’t know if they’ll make the playoffs but it’s certainly possible. If you can somehow get good shooters to fill out the bench and some more passing, then I would say you’re a lock for the playoffs...but I don’t know if the players available make that possible.
Roster: Julius Erving, Bill Walton, Bobby Jones, Larry Nance, Tree Rollins, Nate Archibald, Bob Gross

The good: well LeBron is obviously going to go in this category. Actually, there are quite a few good players on this team. LeBron, Elton Brand, Capela, Boerwinkle (or whatever), Mark Price...all good players. The rebounding should be fantastic with Elton at SF, Bron at PG and good big men to compliment them.
The bad: I think Elton is going to get too many shots and his low eFG might shoot you out of games. Aside from Bron, he’s going to be surrounded by lower usage guys and he’ll be taking a lot of shots.
Overall: I wouldn’t count this team out, but I also don’t think they’re a lock. I think it all depends on what you did with the bench. Going off of what I can see, I’d say about .500 but the bench could change that.
Roster: LeBron James, Elton Brand, Clint Capela, Tom Boerwinkle, Mark Price, Buddy Hield, Enes Kanter

The good: Well, a two man game of Oladipo and Shaq with Horace Grant as their third banana sounds like a recipe for success to me.
The bad: there’s not really too much to put here. I think there were better PGs available over Barros. I don’t know if this team has enough passing.
Overall: Pretty confident this is a playoff team.
Roster: Shaquille O'Neal, Horace Grant, Victor Oladipo, Dana Barros, Anthony Mason, Anderson Varejao, J.R. Smith

The good: LOTS of talent. MJ and Karl in the first. Gerald Wallace is a pretty good score for that late of a pick. Nate McMillian is always nice.
The bad: I think the Gadzuric/Przybilla front court will lose you a few games and I don’t know if you’ll have enough passing to feed your prize investments. I like MJ and I like Karl but I don’t know how well they compliment each other, especially without being able to land a nice PG and/or C to compliment them. If you had been the one to walk away with KJ at the end, I would’ve been impressed. I also like Gerald Wallace as a player but I don’t know if he’s the type of guy I would’ve selected to compliment MJ/Karl.
Overall: obviously MJ and Karl are going to win games on their own, but I don’t think there’s enough surrounding them to go very far. Maybe the guys you added post-draft change that though.
Roster: Michael Jordan, Karl Malone, Gerald Wallace, Nate McMillan, George Hill, Joel Przybilla, Dan Gadzuric
