I would like to enter a roster consisting of players that were, at some point in their career, a teammate of the greatest right handed pitcher ever.

Barry Larkin, Larry Walker, Sammy Sosa, Mark McGwire, and Jeff Bagwell can sit down. They will not be on the roster.

I'll call you my daddy and go eat a mango while waiting for word on whether this theme is acceptable.

"....the greatest right handed pitcher ever." I think there is a pretty good argument that you can take out the "right handed" qualifier.

"Not Really All In The Family"

Every player will have at least one other player on the team who has the same last name.  So, at most, 12 different last names on the roster.  And, sadly, no Ruth, Joss, Koufax, Musial, or any other guys with unique last names.
