The Yankees continue their hot plat by winning the second game of the series against the floundering Red Sox with a 4-2 win on Saturday afternoon. Brett Gardner and Chris Young supply most of the offense as Gardner contributes a single and a double to drive in three runs, and Young adds a double and a solo home run.
Eovaldi picks up his second win of the year with 6.2 IP of 2 run ball, and the bullpen closes it out. Betances picks up his first save of the season, whiffing all four batters he faced.
Adam Warren (1-1, 4.35) hopes to complete the sweep tonight against Red Sox starter Joe Kelly (1-0, 4.94).
Up next is a three game trip to Toronto.
