Also some teams might be hurting for catcher PAs
3/9/2015 9:56 AM
My Mariners team is good on Catcher PA's as I found a decent season of John Baker and there's always Jesus Montero.  Where I'm lacking is SS & 1B.  Something the real life Mariners can also attest!

I guess that was a NO on the AAA?
3/12/2015 12:47 PM
I think allowing manual selection average AAA players is appropriate since most owners have indicated that they are short PA's at various positions.  Also, it really fits within the spirit of the theme.  I think a AAA salary cap would also be appropriate but I normally don't use AAA in my theme leagues.  Does anybody know how this works?

The player you send down counts against the AAA salary cap correct?

Got_Worms - when did the salary cap change? My team exceeds 90 mil. I built it using 100 mil as my mark.

been a lot of discussion on that here since the original posting since most teams cannot come close to 100.    Seems it was changed fairly early on

I missed the cap change as well, but to be fair I haven't been reading. It's not too bad if in fact we are using AAA now, but I'm not clear if we are. The thread seems to say we are but the first page still says no.

I haven't been reading either, I occasionally check the front page to see if there are any new players.
