Thompson was a quality player that attended Marquette before Dean Meminger.  Good Athlete with hops

I think he was Al Maguire's first big recruit to Marquette -
i thought he may have been schools all time leading scorer.

He sure had an ugly face on his old basketball card -

hoops, this league start in July by the looks of the 2 slow drafts.  Is there a live draft format for basketball?

some drafts move faster than others ...  much depends on the time zone that the owners are in, and their work/school/family/life :-)
