Okay, cmcafeeky, game on.  As woeful as Denver's roster is, I think it's coming together pretty well given the, uh, revised standards by which we'll all have to judge this league. 

And Loose Balls is a fantastic book.  I can see it on my bookshelf as I sit here typing this.

George Burns - little short guy with round glasses - smoked a cigar,
big hit in 70's with film 'Oh God'
back in radio days and early tv - his partner was Gracie Allen...

I do remember the old comedian.  I also remember the fine-looking ladies that were always hanging on his arm.  Bruns was another guy I learned about for this theme.
