I have played this theme for a long time but I believe even though I only got 9 , this could be the best first round I have ever had. I have my first six hitters in my lineup who could average .362 with great defense. I also got my number one pitcher, my closer, and my primary setup man. One year I had one of the least number in round one and another year I had the most. Both years I went a long way in the playoffs. You never know.

I had the top 3 hitters measured by OPS last time out, and finished with 78 wins.

Skunk's team MXC Costa Del Pratt, spent much of the season in the lower half of a fiendishly difficult American League West that included DoctorKz, mensu1954, and newarkwilder. But, when it counted, the Del Pratts came on strong, winning their last seven to squeeze out the Wild Card by a single game over DoctorKz; Big Top Wannabees. Then, the skunkmen bested jbap17's Frye Chick and Moore Rice in five in the DS, breezed past newarkwilder's ictularus punctatus in five games for the pennant, won a nail-biting seven game clash against my Bishop Eats ChickN Noodles. This is skunk's ninth EO championship overall, and in EO49 he will attempt for a third three-peat.

Wow, he was down 3-2 in the WS having to win both on road. Won Game 7 in extra innings. Great job skunk, unbelievable season. Congrats to the commish for the excellent season as well, you represented our division in the playoffs and did a great job.

As I noted in the league forum, we had our shot in the bottom of the ninth. Tie game, Pee Wee Reese on second, no one out, and Russell Martin, Jimmie Foxx and Albert Pujols due up - and Reese never got off second.
