As in Rounds 1 and 2, all drafts will be “One pick a day” and picks will be in 45-minute intervals. Drafting will begin each day at 10:00 A.M. (EST) and will end at 10:00 P.M. (EST). We will be using the "scheduled draft" option.  The Draft Utility will be set up as such:

1: We will not allow multiple player clones (i.e., only 1 Roger Maris allowed in each league;

2: We will allow drafted players to be replaced by the same player but from a different season during the draft (you can only do this when it’s your turn on the clock);

3: Draft Order for each league will be “random” and the Draft Style for each league will be “Snake (1-24, 24-1);

4:  There WILL be interleague play;

5: Sitemail notifications will automatically be sent when it’s your turn to pick.

Round Three will not be able to begin until all three drafts are complete.  Drafts cannot begin until we know which owners have earned a spot in this round and what league they will be in.  We won't know that information until all six leagues from Round Two are complete.

Here are some other items of interest for Round Three:

NO:  Waiver Wire, Trades, A.A.A., Live Play or Injuries
YES:  Designated Hitter
CAP:  $110M
CLONES:  Not in this round
STADIUM:  All teams will play in WhatIfSports Park.

You may use either full or partial players seasons in this round.

As in Round Two, owners of team that have 90 or more wins will get to choose which league in Round Three they prefer to be in.  All owners whose teams finish with 89 or fewers wins will go where they're needed.

Just to be clear, in league 3, we can draft players from the Los Angeles Angels and from the Anaheim Angels; is that correct?
4/25/2015 1:08 PM
Correct - as long as they're listed from 1998 through 2014.

Round Four - The Championship Round of the "King of the Draft" Tournament

Owners will choose/draft from the following teams:

Brooklyn Bridegrooms:  1888-1889 (A.A.)
Brooklyn Bridegrooms:  1890-1898 (N.L.)
Brooklyn Dodgers:  1887 (A.A.) (known as the Brooklyn Grays in B-R.com)
Brooklyn Dodgers:  1911-1915 (N.L.)
Brooklyn Dodgers:  1931-1957 (N.L.)
Brooklyn Feds:  1914-1915 (F.L.) (called the Tip-Tops on B-R.com)
Brooklyn Gladiators:  1890 (A.A.)
Brooklyn Grays:  1885-1886 (A.A.)
Brooklyn Robins:  1916-1930 (N.L.)
Brooklyn Superbas:  1899-1910 (N.L.)

New York Giants:  1890 (P.L.)
New York Highlanders:  1903-1912 (A.L.)
New York Metropolitans:  1885-1887 (A.A.)
New York Mets:  1962-2014 (N.L.)
New York Yankees:  1913-2014 (A.L.)

Unlike previous rounds where there were only sixteen owners drafting, this draft will be “One pick a day” and picks will be in 30-minute intervals. Drafting will begin each day at 10:00 A.M. (EST) and will end at 10:00 P.M. (EST). We will be using the "scheduled draft" option.  The Draft Utility will be set up as such:

1: We WILL be using multiple player clones (i.e., all seasons of any New York or Brooklyn player will be eligible for drafting instead of only one of each player being allowed.  In other words, the first owner up in the draft may pick 1921 Babe Ruth, the second owner may select 1923 Babe Ruth, etc. etc.);

1a:  To coincide with the above ruling - yes, an owner may have two of the same player on his roster if he wishes;

2: Drafted players may NOT be replaced at any time during the draft;

3: Draft Order for this round will be random.  Also, the Draft Style will be “Snake (1-24, 24-1);

4:  There WILL be interleague play;

5: Sitemail notifications will automatically be sent when it’s your turn to pick.

Round Four will not be able to begin until drafting is complete.  The draft cannot begin until we know which owners have earned a spot in this round.  We won't know that information until all three leagues from Round Three are complete.

Here are some other items of interest for Round Four:

NO:  Waiver Wire, Trades, A.A.A., Live Play or Injuries
YES:  Designated Hitter
CAP:  $110M
CLONES:  See Notes 1 and 2 above
STADIUM:  All teams must pick a New York or Brooklyn-based stadium.

You may use either full or partial players seasons in this round.
