i was told by support one time  that the first thing determined in a plate appeareance is  will it be an out or not if its an out then the pitchers k/9 rate comes into effect by that im thinking k/9 might not be that big of a deal  but its all good

I am so in. I have never played a theme league before (and it's been a 3-year layoff for me), and this is right up my alley. I always tried to avoid cookie cutter teams in open league. I would often use a high-homer, low-hit stadium and build my team with low average power guys. Addie Joss kept killing me, but it was fun to try. Now I can do it without Joss!
