Sadly, the search for Elton Chamberlain has apparently come to an end.  A local radio station is reporting that he his body was found by a maintenance worker at the Harvey Hotel in downtown Bastan just moments ago, apparently the victim of foul play.

Further details of the apparent murder of Elton Chamberlain are now available.  Because of his condition, many people assumed that his death was self inflicted, but police sources are now calling it a homicide.  A source within the department said the murder weapon, a medium sized inflatable red ball, was left at the scene.  "He had ball imprints all over his body, including his back.  Those imprints were deep.  There is just no way someone, even an athlete as powerful as Chamberlain, could have generated the power to do that to himself."

MURDER VICTIM NOT CHAMBERLAIN?

An autopsy confirmed the cause of death by dodgeball, as expected.  However, the doctors were surprised to learn that the body discovered at the Harvey hotel was not that of Elton Chamberlain, but a look-alike.  We asked Dr. Nick Rophila about his surprising conclusion.  "How did you know it wasn't  Chamberlain?" he was asked.  Well, first of all, there was the fact that the killer had left us a clue:  a note carved into the victim's forehead that said "Not Elton".  So on a hunch, I compared the DNA of the murder victim to Elton's parents.  It was negative.   In fact, that DNA wasn't even human."
