Can we use the same teams for both challenges?  Say Orlando player for part one and an Orlando player part two.

Challenge: Game of Yards

For this challenge you will be making a fantasy lineup from either Saturday NCAAF or Sunday NFL games where the winner will be the person whose lineup has the highest amount of yardage.

Only players from Top 25 NCAAF teams playing Saturday or NFL teams playing at before 8pm on Sunday are eligible

You will be creating a lineup of:

2QB
3RB
3WR
1TE
1 Wildcard spot

For the QB, RB, WR, and TE positions all passing, receiving, and rushing yards will count.  For the wildcard spot, all total yardage(pass, rush, rec, and kick & punt return yardage will also count).

How you get your players will be a blind bidding process.

You will get 100 points per roster spot(200 for QB; 300 for RB and WR; 100 for TE, 100 for WC)

Each position will be its own seperate bidding war.

I will start with QB, then RBs, then WRs, then TE, then finally Wild Card position.  You can only put people in one spot, so the wildcard picks must be players that are not listed in QB, RB, WR, or TE.  It is possible to have a player in your WC spot that another player has in their main spot.  So for example:

Player A puts 165 on Dan Marino at QB
Player B puts 75 on Dan Marino at WC
Player C puts 150 on Dan Marino at QB
Player D puts 50 on Dan Marino at WC

Player A would get Marino at QB and Player B would get Marino at WC.

So basically I'll need you to bid on:
8 QBs
12 RBs
12 WRs
4 TEs
4 WC spots

Minimum bid is $1 and in the case of tied bids, it will go by order finished in the last challenge (tropicana, pokerdonk, stevedotdec, thebish), but if you use your spot for a tie at one position, you will go to the back of the pack for the next position, similar to waiver style free agent pick ups in fantasy.

Bids due by 8:00am ET Saturday.  (Its early because I won't be around from 10am until Saturday night, so if you want picks posted get them in early!!!!)

Forgot to post the elimination part:

The worst score goes to elimination.  The winner will then pick who they want to face the loser in the elimination challenge.

Do you have to have either all NCAA players or all NFL players, or can you have a mix?
10/31/2014 3:18 PM
It can be a mix
