$47m is tough, especially if you have a near $10m player to boot.

Man oh man, that $47 mill cap is a beotch!  Love my starters but my bench absolutely BLOWS, due to lack of cash left.

Anyone else face this issue or did I just draft like a moron?
Opposite for me, it wasn't easy for me to get to $47m without having more minutes than I need. It's why I don't play n $52m draft leagues unless they're double draft leagues.

I'm in at 19,548 min's w/$5000 to spare, should be enough not to have to battle fatigue too much. Changing min's or rotation to correct for fatigue just causes loss's. Then you collapse down the stretch...ugh. In short a 'life suks, then you die' sort a' thing.. I'll pass....

I am going low, around 19,150. I have some expensive horses (Barry @7.6M falling to me in 4th was a blessing and a curse), so hopefully I can grab a pole position. Definitely don't love it though, would normally shoot for 200 more.

I battle fatigue like this: wait the player will foul out sooner or later and it will fix itself...lol.

That's what I did last season - after a strong start that put them on top of their division my squad was plagued by fatigue the rest of the season and played .500 ball from game 30 on before crapping out in the stretch and giving up the division lead in the last 5 games, it was awesome

needless to say take whatever happens to me with a grain of salt due to the infamous seble 'jinx'

i kinda side with nc. dig the low cap leagues. 47m is a gift in the odl.

oscar at 10m and ewing at 9.6m, used the kidd and kirilenko seasons i wanted and downgraded the mins a bit on nater (but not the quality) and gadzuric and added fortson. inserted j. crawford and daquean to bolster novak's blue arcs from the outside, drafted that lovely 558 min drew gooden and topped it all off with my favorite reserve of all time: LOYDE WALTON. 967K.

lots of money. lots of mins. 19,578

just my opinion, but that 24th draft spot... rounds 5 & 6... the buzz ya get with the choice of 3 players. A kaleidescope.

nate says that nater was my best pick. i think it was getting kirilenko in the 5th... and then my choice of two.
there's no better position, in all the draft than being 24th heading into rounds 5 and 6. thoughts?

Mike Miller 05-06 u21.5 e55.7 o2.2 d17.9 a12.8 def 44
one parting eval (couldn't resist)

this team does not scare me. seems built of balsa wood. big wind comes along... well, the big-2 of russell and anfernee, though formidable, lacks muster. a call to arms. more like horsemen standing behind the ground forces. the chinese military has a name for such a ploy, da long xiaobo, "big dragon, little dick".

however, the marques-emeka-david lee-kukoc-m. miller group is the real heart to this team. fits like a glove and packs a right cross. there's gonna be plenty of boards and dimes to feed the 5-headed hydra. this is the kind of place where a new penny will shine.

cool team

I agree with all of this but is it shocking?

Isn't this just how life works? Picking up women is about this too. You can't KNOW (well not me anyway lol) that you will go home with someone but if you a) minimize negatives (don't smell, don't be annoying, don't insult her) and maximize positives (alcohol, be funny, more alcohol)....more often than not you will do well. Don't look at single night outcomes (sometimes you turn it over 35 times and she goes home with Gus Johnson) but over the long haul those who follow the right pattern will do the best.
******* fantastic, sir!
