6-0! And my other two teams won for a perfect 8-0. Talk about things that make you irrationally excited. I just gave a fist pump at work.

Third straight day finishing 9-9 for an overall record of 27-27. Team records are 5-4, 5-4, 4-5, 4-5, 4-5, and 5-4.  Worst game of the day: losing 1-0 in the $120M league where '85 Tudor out dueled '86 Scott. Only run scored on a HR by '85 Ozzie Smith who had zero in 615 actual PA for the 1985 season. I guess he thought he was facing Tom Niedenfuer in the '85 NLCS!

Ughhhhh.  Tris Speaker drops a flyball in the bottom in the bottom of the 9th for the 3rd out and loses the games.

This game can be so mind-numbing.  In the 100M league I start 1907 Bill Duggleby with every intention of giving up the game.  The guy throws six shutout innings and we win 2-1.  Meanwhile, in the 110M league Ed Walsh loses again to start the season 0-4 (but does manage to lower his ERA to 5.47)!

my 90M team has given up 36 unearned runs in 11 games.  Joe Jackson has 6 E's and Tris Speaker has 5.  So, together, they are on pace for a nifty 162 E's.  In the outfield.  Alone.  Team has an UERA over 3.00

I fully expect to have to start 200K K.Coffman at some point in this tournament, and I fully expect him to pitch a gem.  It always happens.  It's almost like if save a 200K pitcher and pitch him later in the year, he's like the opposite of fatigued... he's superhuman and overachieves.  usually only once though.

When I first read your post, I immediately checked to see if that Duggleby start was against me.  (It wasn't).

Well, after a terrible 1-7 start, I'm now 16-14 in those dreaded 1-run games.  Interestingly enough, roughly half of my losses (14 of 29) have been by 1 run.  In games not decided by 1-run, my teams (cumulatively) would be on a 107-win pace.

schwarze, I assume the WIS powers-that-be will provide us that page where we can check out how everyone is doing, eventually, right?

Yes, I contacted admin (Tom Z) on Monday.  He hopes to get something out within the week.  That being said, I may post something tomorrow, if I get a chance.
