Pitching Fatigued: Effect of and on BB and K Rates Topic

I have a team running right now that was one of my first since coming back to the site. I wanted to continue to push this and see how much we could control for fatigue. Once again, I didn't quite push enough. two of my four pitchers set new best PH. The first of whom is 2011 Roy Halladay who put up the following stat line (last 10 games so fatigue levels can be seen and yearlong totals in bold at bottom):

The 1903 Bill Bernhard struggled hard at the end of the season with 39 of his 100 runs allowed coming in his last 15 games. And it wasn't just a component of fatigue, as he had a stretch before I rested him earlier in the season where he pitched at the same level of fatigue as he finished with (actually got lower and into the mid-80s):

The 1909 Addie Joss was tough to stretch out because I was trying to get Maddux and Halladay each to 50 wins. I had to drop his PC all the way down to 40 and even then he still went 5+ innings a couple of times and stole 2 wins from Halladay, which is how good old Roy ended up with two 4-inning saves.

All four were looking like they would be setting new best PH as of around game 140, but then Joss had two rough games that assured he wouldn't and Bernhard just nose-dived... That said, I'll be trying this again, but am going to drop an additional 250 IP from the team. I didn't push the starters nearly as much as I'd hoped and the bullpen wasn't taxed at all, with only my closer even reach 60% of his RL IP.

The team finished with an ERA almost a full run better than the next best team:

RL IP/162: 360. My goal was to get them to 505 IP in season. They are currently at 290 IP through 100 team games. They will accrue more as season progresses as I held them off from pitching the first several games of the season to combat early-season fatigue. They've only been allowed/able to pitch in 96 team games. They're roughly tracking for 490 IP right now. I should be able to give them a little push the last few starts if they're close.
