Swamp...did you know that Warren has an exceptionally high number of restaurants? On a normalized scale (100 being average) Warren is at 144. Do you have any great Middle Eastern restaurants, with the large Arab population in Michigan? That is one thing I really miss from living in the M.E.

And 5 Guys has shown up in Washington....thumbs up to them. And I like their fries.

Next time you're back in the PNW, look me up. I'd love to buy you a beer

OK...lets get to the food.

What is the greatest advantage and disadvantage of major chaiins...

McDonalds...
ADV: The precise way the  system works.
DIS: None of the food is really good.

Burger King...
ADV: Flame Broiled Burgers
DIS: All their chicken products are bad. The actual chicken tastes bland and all the stuff they add cannot change that

Taco Bell...
ADV: Tasty Cheap Food
DIS: screw up orders all the time

White Castle...
ADV: 24/7
DIS: Tons of trans fats in their deep fried stuff

KFC....
ADV: tasty fast food chicken
DIS: Prices without coupons or specials are high

Churchs...
ADV: They split their chicken so their wings are bigger and their breasts are smaller. No tiny wing pieces to avoid at familt dinners
DIS: Also big transfat place

5 Guys...
ADV: Topping list
DIS: fries are too earthy and potato tasting

Subway...
ADV: $5
DIS: Just Subs. Would like some kind of side beside cold potato chips.

Little Caesers:
ADV: $5
DIS: Wings are bad. Really bad.

Besides being sorry for your dietary habits and the burden you will be placing on the health care system........how in the **** can a French fry be too potato tasting? I take it you use ketchup liberally.
Liberally? swamp?

Lets talk about the 5 Guys fries again...

French fries are not just fried potatos. There is a bit of an art to it. That is why McDonalds fries are the best.

There is no subtleness to the 5 Guy fry.

It tastes very earthy and very much like a potato.

You may like this and more power to you.

And not only catsup, but sometimes garlic mayo or bleu cheese ranch.

Swamp, not questioning your culinary tastes, but what do you want your french fries to taste like? I get the earthy part....just not the potato part.

When you make mashed potatos you add something creamy to make the flavor different.

When you make fries you fry them to make them taste different.

Too potato is the only way I can explain it.

Soak the 5 guys fries in vinegar and there is no french fry better on the face of the earth. McDonald's fries are gross and loaded with preservatives. Also, the tater tots at Sonic blow most french fries to the proverbial weeds.

Sonic tots with chili and cheese with chopped onions are a miracle food!

5 Guys is overrated.  The fries are the only good thing there.

If you have speedways near you try their snickerdoodle cookies.

what if I don't have speedways near me?

Well then you are out of luck.
