Not to sound like an old nag folks, how about taking two minutes and sending in your 5 protects when you pick your team. I'm pretty sure you can all agree it doesn't take much more deliberation that that. As much as I love playing this theme, the slackness with some during this process is really annoying. Anyway, for what it's worth...

Thanks, deathdealer.  You beat me to the punch.  We are actually doing pretty well in that regard so far.

I guess I'm one of the slackers. However: Seriously?  You're annoyed that some haven't sent keepers yet when there are still 14 franchises to be selected?  It bothers you to see team names without asterisks next to them?  It's not like you can start planning any time before the keepers are all revealed at the end of the franchise draft.

I don't think deathdealer is referring to those who send in their keepers once all teams are selected.  I think he is referring to those who wait 3-4 days after that.  I believe he is simply pointing out that once somebody does the research to select his team, he probably already knows who his keepers are.  Why not send it in immediately and not have that 3-4 day lag.  (And it's usually the same people).

Fair enough.  Timing seemed kind of odd, I guess. 

I'll take the Marlins.  Can't screw them up any worse than Ozzie did.
