Clarification question-AAA is 6/2?  Because 6/4 is what is showing up when I finished my 25 man roster.

Sorry simisox.  You found two typos, not just one.  In my research to set up the settings, I had checked above average AAA, then decided to drop to average AAA.  To give more flexibility, I upped the AAA pitchers to 4.

So, to recap:  the AAA settings are 6/4 average AAA.

Sorry if I'm missing something but your rule says 4 adjoining seasons and your example has 5 adjoining seasons.

I'm sure Datarek will respond, cholatse, but I interpret the rules as follows:
1.  We start with one "key:  season from our franchise and pick at least thirteen players from that season.
2.  We then add up to 12 players who must come from four seasons adjoining our "key season", with no more than three players from any individual season.
3.  Thus, we are picking players from five seasons:  our "key" season, plus the four adjoining seasons.
4.  Finally, we select 10 AAA players (6 hitters and 4 pitchers) who can come from any season of our franchise from 1980-2012

So, the example is wrong?

Not the way I read it.  I see the example as giving the one key season, plus four adjoining seasons.  Of course I may be reading it wrong.  I'm sure Datatrek will clarify it.

celticus is correct.

In the example, 2004 was the key season.  Take 13+ players from that team.

Take at most 3 players from 4 seasons connected to your key season.
      Example:  3 players from 2002, 3 players from 2003, 3 players from 2005, 3 players from 2006.

Having troubles, cards? :)
You know, I did have some issues. Got the team entered and should be good to go though. Really fun team to build. Looking forward to this getting going.
