I doubt ARod is going to think he's getting a "win" out of $6M of his money going to charity.

Do you donate to any charities?    Assuming "yes", I would think it makes you feel "better" in that you're doing something for someone/something that has no idea who you are/what you've done. 

I have to assume ARod has some of that in him.   Or, even if he doesn't, he has to know that someone will say "That's pretty nice of him" and, if we're to believe what's said about him, he can use that positive affirmation thrown his way.

MIKE!!!!!!!! It was ok. It really couldn't be expected for him to say that much more than that. "Just shut up and play baseball" is a good idea moving forward, and I think he intends to do that. The fact that he didn't hold a press conference points to that.

The tell-all book he writes in 5-10 years will be a best-seller for sure.

Good job using the Fangraphs projection.

.252/27/84 - I'm pretty bullish on his power, especially early in the season when he's really rested and his body's feeling good.  I think he'll be at like 18 homers through early June, then around 21 at the All-Star Break, and finish with the 27.

.252 is reasonable. 
Arod has not been on pace for 27 homers(500 PA) since 2010 when he was 34.
RBI depends a lot on opportunity but that was also 2010.

If you're 39+, you know you do not get more athletic in your late 30s.
