Oh my God Jon Stewart is on tape attacking something Fox News did? Really.

You dont see that more than 2 or 3 times every week!

Why do you have problems with a slight slant on one news network, but you love attack pieces from a completly biased show?
Attacking???

Look, if everyday you came on here and said something incredibly stupid--wait, never mind you already do that.

Anyway, the point is, merely pointing out someone else's stupidity isn't attacking. Especially when that someone is a cable news network.

That isnt what he does.

He takes snippets of stories that disagree with his political positions and write jokes around them.

What exactly is stupid about talking about the declining impact of Christmas.

Shopping isnt Christmas.
12/8/2012 12:48 PM
Because it isn't declining for anyone that doesn't want it to decline.

Why are you not as bothered by Rush's constant barrage of remarks disparaging people as you are of a prank phone call?

It's not a one size fits all proposition. I didn't really agree with the chick fill a boycotts. I always support boycotting Rush for any reason. The old navy boycotts for saying happy holidays are absurd.

The constant barrage is stupid prank phone calls. They are the lowest common denominator of radio humor. They are designed to make people look stupid with no creativity at all.

I admit freely sometimes Rush can push the envelope a bit when attacking people in the news. I think he should save the venom for people with fame or power.

And as always you never answer the question!

I don't even understand the question.....as bothered as what?
12/9/2012 3:09 PM
So you made a comment on this post, and then went back and decided you no longer understood it??

As bothered as you seem to be about people addressing the issue of lessening of traditional Christmas Values.
12/9/2012 4:30 PM
How is that an issue? Shouldn't individuals be able to decide how they want to celebrate the holidays?
12/9/2012 4:57 PM

No one wants to force anyone to do anything.

We dont want Obama to sign a "Christmas Freedom Act".

They are just pointing out a trend that some corporations are moving away from a more traditional Christmas celebaration and using more secular terminology.

People can decide for themselves if that is an issue.

Are you saying that talking about this is somehow a negative?
