Congrats to those guys, they passed the Big 12 in RPI this morn.  I've been at Knight a long time, and this is the first time I recall a Big 6 conference being passed in the RPI (in Knight, I know it's happened and/or commonplace in some other worlds.)

Even though I'm only in my 3rd season in that conference, I'll say thanks and take the credit :)

We should be better next season if everyone stays.  There are some great coaches in there that have built some awesome programs in a short amount of time.  And I think most of the rest of us are gearing up for some big seasons as we're moving into having all of our own recruits, so should be a lot of fun next go-round.

Another interesting point to this story is how the Big 12 continues to dominate NT championships.

Well, it wasn't meant to take a shot at the Big 12, fatchance.

yep, the Big 12 has had a strangle hold on the last two National Championships.

Someone needs to go wake up the Big East, they're dragging butt.

wow, never realized this. B12 won 7 of 8 NC at one point. That's insane.

it is impressive anytime a mid major can break into the realm of the Big 6, but with the  new prestige system to reward more on the court success I guess in theory it will begin to happen more often maybe?

Another year, another Big 12 National Championship. 3 years in a row. Domination.

Congrats to the a10 and b12.

ive seen a lot of double posting, but never with a month between the two!

A-10 in Knight now has more teams left in the postseason than the ACC, Big 10, Pac 10, Big 12, and SEC.

Scary to think what could be accomplished if the four openings were filled...

Who said that mid-majors can't make some real noise in the NT?

St. Joseph's just defeated its third straight Big 6 school to make the Final Four.
