215 openings right now, with 5 more worlds scheduled to roll by tomorrow night. Have to be approaching record territory, right?
I smell more promo codes, and aliases, coming.

Probably not.

225 OPENINGS

12 worlds have 8+ for a total of 110.   Almost half restricted to a dozen worlds.    Just like it's always been.

So having 31 worlds that have 7 or fewer openings is somehow better?

I have a world that I actually want to APPROVE, and cant right now. Cant get to the Franchise Center page. Its almost as though WIS is TRYING to keep worlds from rolling over.

Can anyone else get to the Franchise Center? I have the problem across a desktop, laptop, and smartphone, using multiple browsers.
WIS support insists its on my side. Not sure how thats possible considering the above.

EDIT: Likely a problem if you dont have any 'active' teams. My only 1 was in rollover, so it probably (confusingly) redirects you.

Works for me.

Essentially, you're looking at 31 worlds with 2-3 openings.    That's not bad at all.
9/12/2013 2:29 PM
Only 23 of those openings come from worlds with 3 or fewer teams.

Now you've completely discounted the 107ish openings across 20ish worlds with 4-7 openings.

Either way, half the openings come from 12 worlds.   I suggest ignoring any world that needs to replace 25% of it's owners.
9/12/2013 2:49 PM
My guess it's ALWAYS the same worlds with double digit openings.
9/12/2013 2:59 PM
Mostly the same ones yes.

ULB rolled 8/30. They are ready to go today.
Moneyball rolled 8/20. They are ready to go today.
Stargell rolled less than a week ago (9/4). They are ready to go today.

Good worlds still fill. Period. Some take longer than normal during this time of year, EVERY year.

You could do like gleeman and miraculously find 3 "new owners" to sign up on the same day and all pick your world out of the 40+ out there.
One lucky guy/world.
Any wonder he's playing about .700 ball and winning about 25% of the championships?

Can't wait til there's another opening in THAT beauty.

I think Gleeman mustbe an account ran by WIS and those worlds are probably filled with fake accounts.. Thats the only way I can imagine that those worlds fill..

It probably doesn't hurt that he's fairly well-known in baseball circles and probably has readers who would like to play in his world (and then watch as he gobbles up IFAs, trades off old for young and continues his perpetual WS contender every year). I can't imagine that many of them last long, though -- most people I know who've been in one of his worlds previously end up moving on due to that cycle.

I think Gleeman writes a blog and gets people to join thru it.    And, of course, they let him do what he wants.
