Tim Tebow Topic

For the most part, anyone who doesn't want Tebow on their team is probably a retard.

I get not wanting him as your starting QB.  But there's no way he HURTS your team.

He's so awesome he's being traded for a 4th rounder.
That's what the Raiders got for Moss from the Patriots.

Maybe you remember him.
Because Tebow and Moss are totally comparable.

Moss didn't give a crap in Oakland (which acquired him for a 1st btw) so that's why he was traded for a pittance.
You're the dipshit who said "He's so awesome he's being traded for a 4th rounder."

Just pointing out that context matters.    Denver just signed Peyton Manning.    With the fanbase that Tebow has, keeping him on the bench is just plain stupid.  Denver was trading him for the best offer out there.   Just like Oakland did for Moss.

For the Jets' fans yelling "Oh no!!!", here's the resident rocket scientist's thoughts on the matter:

"Cornerback Antonio Cromartie tweeted the following: “We don’t need Tebow. We sell out every home game let him go to Jacksonville Tampa or Miami.”

Hope you feel good about having this genius on your side.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpSwaVclOgU

The thing that makes me feel bad for Tebow is that none of this is his doing. He doesn't seek the spotlight, he doesn't try to draw attention to himself, but people heap hatred on him like he's an arrogant *****. It doesn't make sense. I still think it all comes down to people wanting to see him fail - not wanting to believe a guy could be that good and walk the walk, because then they'd have to take an even longer look at themselves.

nah, its more a product of the media's over the top love of Tim Tebow.

Then shouldn't the media be getting the flack? Tell them to go find another story.

It's like if a cameraman suddenly showed up at your house and did a big news story about you and everyone was like "why is this on tv?", and their response was to go trash your house. Put the blame where it lies.

The media does get  plenty of flack, the Brennaman quote had been mocked endlessly. The medias coverage is part of why Tebow got way too much credit when things went well, and way too much criticism when they didnt.

Looks like swine's back to eff up another thread with his lack of understanding

It'd be hilarious if Tebow was on the cover of Madden in a Broncos jersey. I have to think if he wins, they'll update it to his current team.

The point was that a player is "worth" whatever the market will pay.

I get that that's too much for you to grasp though.

if it wasn't for tebow, broncos would have peyton manning and a top5 pick in this year's draft.

it's ok though, hopefully they'll still have manning to go with their top5 pick in 2013

Are you trying to make a point with all your babble?
Just pointing out your dumbassery.

Probably wasn't necessary.

Limbaugh said it best. Our culture does take people, set 'em up to knock 'em down. There is a psychology behind that, and the psychology is rooted in inferiority. We don't want anybody to be better than we are so that we don't have to deal with how bad we are. We're romancing society's corrupt perverted losers like Occupy Wall Street, because in a comparative thing, who doesn't look better than somebody defecating or urinating all over themselves? So we're kinda happy to have 'em out there. In comparison, we look pretty good.

Ya, Elway sucks. If only he could find a way to sign the greatest QB in NFL hist....oh, wait a minute.
He didn't sign Brady or Brees...did he?
