Men at Work, George Will

I’m reading this one again, I read it about 15 years ago.

In Cold Blood

Truman Capote

I usually don’t like dark books, but this one is fascinating. It’s not a completely true story, but true enough.

One of the best line ever.

"I didn't want to harm the man. I thought he was a very nice gentleman. Soft spoken. I thought so right up to the moment I cut his throat."

always one of my favorites

Loved The Talisman...Black House was good also. I think I've read every Steven King but Duma Key and oddly, The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon.

Just finished the new Dan Brown and am working on an old Robert Ludlum now. The new Dan Brown was interesting, though simple.

Just read my first Jack Reacher novel...Bad Luck and Trouble by Lee Child. Very good book and I've gotten an earlier novel from the library to follow up.

love going to the library, so much to read and who has the money to be buying all these books....keep the library going. They will order a book for you too if they don't have it, pretty cool.

I buy all my books. I do not have a formal dining room having turned it into a library. Currently I have somewhere in the area of 4,000 books in my house. I estimate I have read 3/4 of them.

I worked at a used book store for a while and found the DDS to be the best for organizing the collection. The other option was the Library of Congress system, but that was - for me, at least - less intuitive and more confusing. I don't think I'd try to organize a collection under about 5000 books, tho.

There are a bunch of apps and products out there for organizing home book collections. Never used any of them, but I've heard others speak about them on various messageboards.

my wife wants to use the DDS and all I can do is laugh, what an effort it would be...and solve nothing because we don't return books to the place where we got them....so when we need to find a book it is chaos at best however we do find others along the search.
