WOW! After a very disappointing season I was sure that I wouldn't make the top 5. #1 is looking real good. Guess I have something to fight for now. But, thanks again alblack, as always...awesome job!

good to see Harding still up there after going out in the 2nd round the previous 3 season. I gave Bellarmine all they wanted in the Elite 8. Sweet revenge in that Bellarmine beat the only 2 teams they lost to in the regular season (me being one) in the NT.
5/17/2010 12:26 AM
Also... I'll put the thread up after coaches make their moves... Yarnell invitational returns Harding as the host and Bellarmine as the returning champ. Gannon, Pfieffer, Concord, and Caldwell have earned the other 4 slots. Site mail ahead of time if you're interested. Those on the outside, keep 5-9 slots open should someone decline.

I look forward to these rankings every year. Great job alblack.

Finally Bridgeport makes the list. They did better then expected reaching the finals of the PI. All sophs and one junior. Will try for another run in 2 seasons then look to move up.

Back at the number 1 spot. Next season should be another deep run, then i'll have to really consider if I want to hang around or not.

Where's Goldey Beacom?  #37 after last season in the rankings, had RPI 30 and NT appearance this season.  Did I fall that far?

Sorry, pete. I accidently deleted Goldey-Beacom from my Excel program. You should be #35

Longwood going from #11 to #10 to #10 - proving that we're good at staying very good, but have not been great.

I'm pretty sure I'll try to recruit again and go from there. I'll likely cut a player or 2 this season and see if I can land someone cheaply with my A+ prestige to give me a head start to work on depth. My JR PF is dead weight. Solid player, but hes pretty maxed out and isn't any better then what I can bring in now. Another option is cutting the guard. I like his speed, but that is sort of all he offers. I'd love to bring in some young guys who would be ready to start next season rather then going mostly FR again. I see a lot of recruits who are not bad, and have insane potential that I'd love to have. I already got a young SF and couple bigs to build around the future. I think I'll stick around a few more seasons. These recruits are not as bad as I thought.
