Listen to their older albums instead. Try Youth & Young Manhood.

The new stuff seems much more produced.

I haven't heard them. Indie-bluegrass in the Rusted Root sense or the Okkervil River sense?

Neither really--much more twangy than Okkervil (who I really like a lot), and none of the Rusted Root percussion (they don't have any drums). I really probably shouldn't have qualified it as rock, but they sing about coke and strippers so I felt it needed something beyond just "bluegrass".

Fun show, crap crowd.

Guster meets OAR? And yes, Okkervil is really good. Rusted Root was hit or miss but when they were on, they were awesome. Cruel Sun had some great songs... Scattered being among the best.

Dirty Pretty Things--Waterloo To Anywhere

Libertines spin-off...I love me some British post-punk.

'Bout the only new band I've gotten into recently is the Presets. They're unreal live, but the studio stuff is good too.
