After the game, McCarthy said that Nick Collins (carted off on a stretcher with neck injury) might be able to return to Green Bay with the team. This morning we learned he was kept in Carolina overnight for observation... and at McCarthy's press conference this afternoon, they announced that he is out for the season. Few other details were provided.

Packers beat the Bears 27-17 at Soldier Field, shutting down the Bear running game and not getting completely embarrassed by the passing game. The defense is definitely suspect this season. Bryan Bulaga left the game with a knee injury but as of today they were saying it's just a bruise.

Packers are unbelievably good. They won despite massive injuries last year, and can now fine tune this great team for the next 3-4 years. i see at least one more title during that stretch.

Rookie RB Alex Green (third-round pick) is out for the season after suffering a knee injury against Minnesota. With a bye week in progress it might be a while before they bring in a replacement. Possibly Dmitiri Nance will be back.

I am just amazed by Aaron Rodgers.  I am a long-time Bears fan so I have no love for the Packers, but I can't help but admire this guy.  We may be watching the best single season by a QB ever!
