Taz, if this was your rebuilding year, I'm even more nervous to play you next year.
I am with you on this count, sigs
yeah, I never would have ventured that I would have been good enough to garner a 1 seed this season. Defense played pretty solid for the most part, and Osborn was much more effective from the perimeter than I would have thought. Next year will still be a building up year, 2 & 3 seasons from now, when the sophs are seniors, I should have another solid look at a championship. Upstate as a whole should be very solid the next several seasons again. Gonna be a dog fight in there.

I believe there may be an opening if anyone is looking to join up. I think someone already reserved Rochester, but there have been talks of the RPI coach retiring for the summer.

Tourney update:
12 of the Sweet 16 are current or now-qualified dynasty teams... only one game has no dynasty-qualified teams: NC Wesleyan vs. Worcester St.
1-dynasty games:
#7 Montclair faces John Jay (possibly eligible next season)
#9 Arcadia faces College of NJ
#14 Medaille vs. SUsquehanna (2 postseasons away from qualifying)
#7 Montclair plays John Jay (can qualify next season)
Dynasty Face-offs
#23 US Merchant Marines face newly qualified Connecticut
#27 Rutgers-Newark vs. new qualifier Wisc-Oshkosh ( off previous list)
#17 Hartwick vs #13 Lycoming
and the top dynasty matchup; #2 Anderson vs. #5 Emory (winner plays Hartwick-Lycoming winner to make the Final 4)
4 dynasty teams still going in the PIT: LaRoche, Dallas, Stillman, and Lynchburg... Dallas squares off against Lynchburg tonight.
Good Luck to everyone still playing.

Wronoj - so you're saying that after we beat the crap out of each other tonight, the "winner" gets to play camrun or nfentre? Sounds like fun!

Congrats to all the newbies to the list-- let's keep this up. 43 qualified teams this season, highest in my 6 seasons of doing the list (low of 24, previous high of 40).
6/12/2007 12:34 PM
thanks for doing this again wronoj. It brings a tear to my eye when I see Lycoming up there with the big boys. I remember taking them over around 10 seasons ago and I was thrilled when I made my first NT. Now I gotta be consistent to even make your list. It's a fun challenge.
6/12/2007 1:58 PM
Looks like you are in pretty good shape to me, sigsoho... robbed me of at least one spot gain in the NT.
6/12/2007 5:11 PM
Wow. I take over a dynasty type team at Nichols. Now I get to feel worse when I screw it all up
6/13/2007 1:31 AM
Great list wronoj, thanks for putting this together. Now if I can just get my Goucher team into the top 25.
6/13/2007 11:26 AM
Thanks as well wronoj. Looking to move Chicago up this list into the top 5 over the next 3 seasons. While I like my young talent, and think its possible, I'd have to outperform some very good teams w/ some very good coaches. Definently won't be easy.
