I’ve been working with buddy996 in setting up a new world (Parks World). It has been approved by admin as long as two things happen. (1) We find at least 8 owners new to HBD, one in each division. (2) The other owners joining the world can’t leave a world they are currently in to join Parks World.
Since it will be a private world, there will be a few rules that all owners must agree to follow.
All cities will be set and will never change throughout the life of the world. City nicknames can change, but not the cities. The AL will hold all hitters ballparks and the NL will hold all pitchers ballparks. The next post will have the Cities that will be in Parks world. Some have been reserved already. We need both veteran owners and newbies.
Anti-tanking rules- (1) Owners ML team must win at least 55 games every season. (2) Owners ML team must win at least 125 games in back to back seasons. That means you can go 55-107 in a season and the next season you will need to at least go 70-92.
A world committee will be set up by the commish. The committee will be made up of 4 owners, 2 from the AL and 2 from the NL. The committee will vote on things from admission of future owners if / when vacancies occur to owners in violation of the world anti-tanking rules. In the case of a tie vote between the committee members, the commish will cast the tie breaking vote.
If a team violates the world anti-tanking rules then can appeal it and make their case to the committee to let them stay in the league. The committee will then vote on whether or not that owner should be kicked out. Each owner will have one appeal they can use. After their appeal has been used, any violation of anti-tanking rules will result in expulsion of the world.
If a committee member quits or gets kicked out, then the commish will replace that committee member. If the commish quits or gets kicked out, then the committee will appoint a new commish.
Of course all owners would be held to the WIS HBD fairplay guidelines.
