Can someone explain to me how to post links to players in league chat?

First, in the player profile popup window you will see a clipboard with a + sign on it right below the player's picture. Click on that clipboard.

Next, on the world chat page you will see a clipboard directly under the box where you type your message. Clicking on that clipboard will post the link into the chat box for that player. Then finish your message and post it.
