I would like some rule clarifications before we begin:
1) Are there any limitations on player seasons? You did make one post in Sept 2021 that players have to be from 1900 and after. But I haven’t seen anything in any of the posted rules about this. I’d prefer we open it up to all available seasons but need to know.
2). If I took Bill Bernhard for instance. Can I use his 1902 Indians season for one team and his 1902 Athletics season for another team? If that’s not allowed, do I only use his 1902 Indians partial season? Or could I also use his 1902 combined ?
3) Where did we end up with ballparks? Do we get to pick any? Do we have to use the same ballpark for all 5 teams? Or do we have to pick 5 different ballparks? Or some combination?
4) Who checks if someone’s 200k scrub enters a game occasionally? Is there a penalty if they do?
1) I am not thrilled about using any season where the pitching rubber was 45 feet away from home plate, so at least for this season I want to stick with any season from 1900 to the present.
2) If a player was traded mid-season you may use his Team A season, his Team B season, or his combined season. YOU MAY NOT USE A PARTIAL SEASON ON ONE TEAM AND A WHOLE SEASON FROM THE SAME YEAR ON A DIFFERENT TEAM.
3) We will choose our ballparks after the draft. We will be using modern ballparks only. There is no rule against using one ballpark for three of your teams and a different ballpark for the other two teams. We will not draft ballparks, just pick one (or five) and go.
4) There is no penalty if someone's $200,000 scrub accidentally gets into a game. As a matter of fact, if you want to start one against me......please do.
